APPOINTMENT POLICIES
All appointments require a base price deposit. Any additional fees for services rendered will be added at checkout. Gratuity is not automatically included and may be added at the client’s discretion.
Clients will receive a confirmation email 72 hours before their scheduled appointment. 24 hours prior to the appointment, the base price will be charged to the credit card on file. If payment cannot be processed and we are unable to reach you, the appointment will be canceled.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Vanity Projects requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you fail to show up or cancel on the same day, your deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee to compensate the assigned nail artist for the missed appointment and lost time.
NAIL FIXES
We stand behind the quality of our work and want every client to leave fully satisfied with their manicure.
If you experience chipping, lifting, bubbling, or other issues related to product application within 10 days of your appointment, please contact the salon so we can review the issue and schedule a repair if applicable.
To help us properly assess the repair, clear photos of the nails are required before booking a fix appointment.
Please note the following:
• Complimentary fixes apply only to issues determined to be service- or product-related.
• Damage caused by impact, pressure, accidents, picking, biting, improper aftercare, or normal wear and tear is not considered a complimentary fix.
• Nail breakage is not automatically considered a service-related issue, as physical trauma or lifestyle-related wear cannot always be prevented.
• Requests made more than 10 days after the original appointment will be treated as regular maintenance or a new service and will be charged accordingly.
• Significant grow-out, multiple missing nails, or extended wear may require a fill or new set rather than a repair appointment.
• Complimentary fix appointments that are missed, cancelled same day, or rescheduled last minute will no longer qualify as complimentary.
• We only perform repairs on services originally completed at Vanity Projects.
Our team will always do our best to review concerns fairly and recommend the most appropriate solution.
SERVICE CHANGES
Clients will be charged the difference if services are downgraded without proper notice, including situations where client lateness causes the downgrade. We kindly request that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes to appointments (time, date, artist) or services, allowing us to process the correct deposit amount.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
All gift certificates are final sale. The purchase of a gift certificate is considered an exchange of cash equivalent, and no additional value or service is rendered at the time of purchase.
Gift certificates may only be redeemed at the location where they were originally purchased. They are non-transferable to other locations or to another individual.
Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of value.
Gift certificates do not expire.
Gratuities are not included in the gift certificate value. Tips may be provided in cash or via card at the time of service.
Vanity Projects is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. If lost, please contact us with proof of purchase, and we will assist in reissuing it if possible.
Appointments should be scheduled in advance. Please mention that you are redeeming a gift certificate when booking. This includes online bookings, please inform us that you will be paying with a gift certificate in the appointment notes section.
AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
How it works:
Existing clients receive 20% off when referring new clients to Vanity Projects.
The new client must be booking their first appointment with us and their contact info should not already be in our system.
To Qualify:
The existing client’s name must be mentioned when booking the new client’s appointment (either when booking by phone or in the online booking notes).
You’ll receive your 20% discount once the referred new client completes their first appointment.
Important Notes:
The existing client can only redeem their 20% discount after the new client’s first appointment takes place.
If the new client cancels or doesn’t show up, the existing client will not receive the discount.
Group Appointments:
If an existing client brings a group of new clients, the discount can be combined. For example, if an existing client books a group of 5 new clients, they will receive 100% off their appointment.
Additional Limitations:
If a client books a group of 5 or more guests that results in a 100% off discount, the total comped service (like a manicure) will be capped at $160.
New clients who wish to join the VP Ambassador program can only apply the 20% discount after their first visit is completed (no discounts are given on the first visit).
All Sales Final / No Refunds Policy
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on any products, gift cards, online purchases, or services rendered in the salon.
